How it's made?

Artisanal Soap Making: The Cold Process Method
I have always been passionate about soapmaking and my very first Gentle Facial Bar been launched in 2020 using Cold-process soapmaking. This ancient technique known since Babylon, Ancient Egypt and Greece allows us to create handcrafted soaps that are rich in texture, aroma, and nourishing benefits.
Artisan Cold Process Soap Making
My cold process soap making process begins with the selection of raw materials: certified Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Raw Shea Butter and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I then combine raw materials using a precise ratio and the mixture is then poured into moulds, where it undergoes a slow and gentle process of saponification.
Benefits of Cold Process Soap Making
The cold process method offers several benefits that set Alina Perfance soaps apart from others:
Rich Lathering: My soaps are designed to create a luxurious, creamy lather that's gentle on the skin.
Nourishing: The cold process method allows us to infuse my soaps with natural oils and butters, providing nourishing benefits for the skin.
Unique Texture: Each bar of my Handmade soap is carefully crafted to have a unique texture, making every bar a one-of-a-kind.
Biodegradable & Sustainable: my artisan soaps are free from nasties or anything artificial, making them perfect for sensitive skin.
Sustainable packaging and in-house labelling: All soaps arrive in cardboard Letterboxes with adhesive paper label and wool wood filler (straw) ensuring zero impact on ecological footprint.
Alina Perfance Cold Process Soap Making Process
Cold process soap making process is a craftsmen skill to ensure every bar of soap meets the high standards. Here's a glimpse into my process:
Raw Materials: I choose only Certified Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Shea Butter, Cold Pressed Olive oil and high grade soapmaking potash.
Mixing and Blending: I combine ingredients with natural oils and butters, using a precise ratio and temperature below 36C to melt butters and oils.
Moulding and Saponification: Hand-pouring soap mixture into moulds carefully, where it undergoes a slow process of saponification, allowing each soap bar to develop its unique texture.
Curing and Aging: After unmoulding I allow soaps to cure and mature, bars harden at room temperature for 30 days allowing the natural oils and butters to fully mature and develop their nourishing benefits.
